What is Velashape 3 and how does it work?
Velashape 3 does not rely on a single mechanism but on three components working together: infrared light, bipolar radiofrequency, and mechanical massage combined with vacuum. Together they aim to raise tissue temperature and support circulation in the treated region.

The FDA clearance covers the temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite and the temporary reduction of thigh and abdominal circumference. How does Velashape 3 differ from cryolipolysis?
The two are discussed in the same region but answer different questions.
Cryolipolysis targets a proportion of fat cells through controlled cooling, and the reported change lasts longer. Velashape 3 raises tissue temperature to provide temporary support to appearance; a lasting reduction in the fat layer is not its aim.
Selection is therefore not a ranking. What is expected, the condition of the region and how the person can sustain the process are assessed together. In some plans both come up at different periods; which is applied when is determined by the physician.
